Global Account Manager – Strategic Customer Relationships

About the role

Expeditors is looking for a Global Account Manager to lead and expand strategic customer relationships across its worldwide network. The role focuses on retaining and growing business, aligning executive and operational priorities, and delivering value‑added logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global relationship with assigned customer accounts, driving retention, growth, and satisfaction.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that align customer and Expeditors objectives.
• Identify revenue‑growth opportunities, product diversification, and geographic expansion.
• Build relationships with executive and operational stakeholders across the customer organization.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with product, sales, operations, and leadership teams worldwide.
• Lead business reviews, monitor KPIs, and ensure service commitments are met.
• Identify risks and service gaps, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop value‑added solutions using Expeditors’ products, services, and technology.
• Maintain accurate account activity and financial performance data in CRM systems.
• Travel as needed to support customer relationships and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent business qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Expeditors or a comparable logistics/transport industry.
• Proven business development and strategic account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Expeditors’ products, services, and operating structure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence in a global matrix organization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to achieve KPI objectives and deliver measurable results.
