Global Compliance & Reporting Manager (MENA Tax)

About the role

EY is looking for a Manager to join its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Abu Dhabi. The role will lead complex tax compliance and reporting engagements for MENA‑region clients, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and supporting the growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team delivering tax compliance and reporting services.
• Manage day‑to‑day client engagements, monitor progress, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Develop and maintain internal and external relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Implement standardized processes, identify risks, and drive performance‑improvement solutions.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive learning culture.
• Ensure adherence to EY’s Tax Quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, taxation or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) or professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, tax accounting and tax auditing, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Proven managerial, organisational and project‑management experience.
• Experience working with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.
