Global Manager – Project Management – Logistics

About the role

The Global Manager – Project Management – Logistics will support planning, coordination and delivery of key logistics projects across DP World’s global operations. Reporting to the Global SVP of the Project Management Office, the role ensures projects are governed, risks are managed and outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate assigned logistics projects from initiation through delivery, developing and maintaining project plans, milestones and dependencies.
• Maintain accurate project status, dashboards and governance documentation, and prepare regular reporting for the Global PMO and senior stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, developing mitigation actions and escalating material issues when required.
• Coordinate across global functions, regions and project teams, facilitating meetings and ensuring actions, owners and deadlines are clearly documented.
• Monitor delivery against scope, schedule and budget, analysing performance and highlighting variances for management attention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing or coordinating complex projects in a multinational or matrix organisation.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or transportation is desirable.
• Exposure to integration or business transformation projects is advantageous.

Required skills

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (or equivalent project management qualification).
• Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, risk management and reporting.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
