Governance Manager – Priority Banking

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking a Governance Manager to support Priority & Personal Banking, ensuring efficient, controlled processes aligned with bank policies. The role acts as a key liaison between the segment and internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Fraud, Legal, Operations Risk, and the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team of governance specialists, fostering performance and development.
• Represent the segment on governance initiatives including CPR, BPM, Finacle, and exception management projects.
• Provide guidance on operational compliance, risk, controls, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate remediation activities for high‑risk customer reviews and compliance alerts.
• Prepare and manage MIS reports, operational updates, and procedural matters.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for Fraud, Operations Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Branch Network teams.
• Deliver training to segment staff on policy updates, procedural changes, and best practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics or related field.
• 7–10 years of banking or financial services experience with exposure to risk, operations, controls and compliance.
• Experience managing teams and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, financial crime risks, operational governance and remediation activities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and strong attention to detail.
