About the role
The Government Relations Officer will manage the company’s interactions with UAE government authorities, handling immigration, licensing and regulatory transactions to ensure uninterrupted business operations. This role acts as the primary liaison for visa, work permit, residency and other statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Represent the company before UAE government and regulatory authorities such as MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, airport and free‑zone agencies.
- Process employment visas, residence permits, work permits and related immigration transactions, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of employee visas, Emirates IDs, passports and other statutory documents, monitoring expiry dates and initiating renewals.
- Coordinate the renewal and issuance of airport security passes, airside permits and other operational access permits.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in government relations or immigration within the UAE.
- Fluent Arabic (written and spoken) and good English communication skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence and personal vehicle.
- Ability to work on‑call and handle emergency or ad‑hoc cases.
