Government Relations Officer (UAE National)

About the role

The Government and Regulatory Officer ensures that all requests and queries from courts, police, public prosecution and other authorities in the UAE and Qatar are processed accurately, promptly and in full compliance with internal policies. The role supports the unit head and manager by executing approved processes and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process UAE and Qatar court orders and law‑enforcement agency requests within defined SLAs.
• Handle police letters, public prosecution and CID correspondence across all UAE emirates.
• Manage the inbox for government‑entity emails and respond in a timely manner.
• Execute case processing through the Velocity‑MOFT system where applicable.
• Ensure all communications comply with regulatory instructions and internal policies.
• Monitor, coordinate and follow up on assigned cases to guarantee timely closure.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with branch managers, unit heads and internal departments to resolve issues raised by government entities.

Required profile

• UAE national with strong understanding of UAE and Qatar legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under strict compliance requirements.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using the Velocity‑MOFT case management system.
