Graduate Civil Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will support the delivery of infrastructure, building, road and bridge projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, standards and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing engineering designs for infrastructure, buildings, roads and bridges to verify compliance with client specifications and applicable standards.
• Support the site inspection team by monitoring construction activities and confirming work aligns with project specifications, safety standards and contractual agreements.
• Review technical drawings, reports and contractor documentation for accuracy, completeness and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with site consultants to evaluate material testing and analysis reports, ensuring quality and sustainability of construction materials.
• Monitor contractor safety plans, risk assessments and method statements to guarantee adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits, inspections and compliance reviews throughout the construction phase.
• Promote sustainable practices and innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and environmental performance.

Required profile

• Working towards a degree or master’s qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Strong academic performance and proven academic excellence.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
• Demonstrated determination and commitment to personal and professional growth.
