Graduate Cost Estimation – UAE National (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Graduate Cost Estimation supports the project team throughout all phases of project delivery by managing budgeting, cost monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting. The role ensures projects are executed within approved cost baselines and supports effective cost control and variance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost budgets and forecasts.
• Track expenditures, monitor cost variance and prepare cost reports, cash‑flow forecasts and financial dashboards.
• Support change management by evaluating cost impacts and applying earned value management principles.
• Identify and mitigate cost risks, and coordinate with project controls, planning, procurement and construction teams.
• Interface with finance for invoicing, accruals and cost actuals, and communicate cost performance to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quantity surveying, finance, cost engineering or related discipline.
• Experience on engineering, construction, energy or infrastructure projects, preferably in EPC, PMC or Owner’s Engineer environments.
• Proficiency with cost control and reporting tools such as SAP, Oracle and Excel.
• Understanding of project cost management principles, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Professional certifications (e.g., AACE CCP, PMP) are an advantage.
