GRE QC Inspector – Mechanical Materials Inspection

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a reliable Mechanical QC Inspector (Material Inspector) with GRE piping experience to support quality control on a major EPC project in the UAE. You will report to the Mechanical QC Engineer and ensure all mechanical works meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of quality control procedures for mechanical works and report to the Mechanical QC Engineer.
• Review technical specifications, drawings and BOQ to identify inspection requirements.
• Conduct site receiving inspections of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Perform fit‑up inspections and final dimensional verification before installation and welding.
• Prepare, file and maintain inspection reports, test records and quality documentation.
• Witness and review work performed by third‑party testing, inspection and NDT companies.
• Attend client inspections, raise punch‑list items and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure measuring and testing instruments are calibrated and functional.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GRE piping inspection on Oil & Gas/EPC projects.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and report‑writing skills.
