Group Accountant (Chartered Accountant / ACCA)

About the role

Ultrafitler GmbH, a European manufacturer of industrial and sterile filters, is expanding its finance function in Dubai. We are looking for a Group Accountant to manage the books of our multi‑entity group across Germany, the UK, Switzerland, the UAE and India.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a single accounting system for all group entities and close each month by the 10th, producing a concise group pack and identifying extraordinary items.
• Run weekly payment cycles, handle supplier and customer queries, and invoice inter‑company services while keeping inter‑company balances reconciled.
• Manage VAT, GST and corporate‑tax filings in each jurisdiction, including UAE EmaraTax filings.
• Process the monthly Dubai payroll (WPS), prepare a weekly 13‑week cash forecast and review invoice payment terms.
• Support year‑end closing and external audits for all entities.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (e.g., ICAI) or ACCA.
• 3‑6 years of experience in multi‑entity, multi‑currency bookkeeping and month‑end close performed independently.
• Hands‑on experience with inter‑company accounting, VAT in multiple countries and cloud/ERP finance modules.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
