Group Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Vault is seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer to build and lead a unified finance function across its multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdictional digital asset and investment businesses. You will design and implement the operating model, reporting architecture, systems and controls, driving automation and efficiency for a rapidly growing group.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial control and accounting across all entities under IFRS and local statutory requirements, defining policies, chart of accounts and intercompany framework.
• Lead month‑end close to a 5‑day cycle, own consolidation, combination logic and external audit relationships.
• Prepare and file regulatory financial reports to CySEC, the Central Bank of Cyprus and Swiss SRO, covering funds, capital adequacy and liquidity.
• Manage transfer pricing, intra‑group service agreements, cost allocation and related‑party registers.
• Own the Group budget, rolling forecasts, and build a long‑range multi‑entity, multi‑currency financial model for board and investor communications.
• Produce management packs with unit economics, customer profitability and runway analysis, and drive monthly business reviews.
• Support fundraising activities, data‑room preparation, cap‑table management and investor reporting.
• Set treasury policy, oversee capital planning and risk limits across the Group.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdictional environment, preferably within digital assets or investment firms.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local statutory reporting and regulatory requirements (CySEC, Central Bank of Cyprus, Swiss SRO).
• Proven track record of building finance functions, automating processes and delivering clean audits.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to interact with board, investors and regulators.
