Group Manager – Legal (Maternity Cover)

About the role

DP World is seeking a Group Manager – Legal to provide commercially focused legal and compliance support to its Technology division during a six‑month maternity cover. The role will act as the first line of legal assistance for technology‑related contracts and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver user‑friendly legal advice to the Group Technology team on commercial contract transactions.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including IT, intellectual property, data protection, and e‑commerce documents.
• Provide clear, commercially oriented recommendations on contract issues and flag non‑standard terms.
• Liaise between commercial stakeholders and the Group Director – Legal, ensuring effective reporting to senior technology and finance leaders.
• Uphold DP World’s values, safety standards, and Code of Conduct in all interactions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Law degree from an accredited university (England & Wales preferred; Commonwealth qualifications considered).
• Admission to practice law by a recognized regulatory body.
• Minimum eight years post‑qualification experience in a leading law firm or multinational corporation.
• Experience in the Middle East region is desirable.
