Group Manager - Treasury Legal

About the role

The Group Manager – Treasury Legal will support the Group Lead Counsel, Group Treasury in delivering strategic, commercially‑focused legal advice across DP World’s global treasury activities. You will work closely with senior finance leaders, regional CFOs and business units to manage legal risk in financing documentation and to streamline the Group’s legal positions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Group Lead Counsel in advising both internal and external stakeholders on all types of debt financing, including project, corporate, guaranteed facilities, refinancings, restructurings and Islamic financings.
• Review, negotiate and draft financing documentation for transactions ranging from a few million to several billion USD.
• Identify and mitigate legal, operational and commercial risks in financing agreements and propose wording to protect the Group.
• Liaise with external counsel as required and ensure a consistent approach to financings across the organisation.
• Support treasury products and services, including inter‑company lending, on a global basis.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant legal experience in treasury, project finance or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of international financing structures and regulatory environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple complex transactions and communicate effectively with senior management.
