Groups and Events Specialist

About the role

The Groups and Events Specialist supports the Sales & Marketing team at The Ritz‑Carlton Dubai by handling office duties, preparing sales documents and promoting the brand both internally and externally. This full‑time contract position works on‑site at Al Mamsha Street, Jumeirah Beach Residences.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office tasks such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying to keep the Sales & Marketing department running smoothly.
• Prepare and manage sales‑related documents, including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders throughout the sales process.
• Assemble promotional material packages, gather brochures and other brand assets for client presentations.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data (commissions, leads, third‑party information) in the relevant software systems.
• Respond to guest inquiries about property facilities, rates, packages, promotions and special events via phone and email.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and professional communication.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience in sales, marketing or hospitality support.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
