Growth & Business Development Lead

About the role

JP Legal is looking for a Growth & Business Development Lead to drive client acquisition and expand our portfolio of legal services. You will work closely with partners, the business development team, and marketing to design and execute growth strategies across law firms, corporate legal departments, and legal‑tech clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with legal professionals, partners, GCs, and key decision‑makers.
• Design, develop and execute growth strategies tailored to legal services markets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, RFPs, and direct outreach.
• Create compelling business proposals, pitch materials, and thought‑leadership campaigns.
• Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with partners, marketing, legal, and business development teams on campaigns and events.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within law firms, professional services, or consultancy environments.
• Proven B2B consultative selling experience, preferably to corporates, GCs, or senior decision‑makers.
• Strong understanding of the legal services market and ability to position complex legal offerings.
• Familiarity with RFP processes, proposal drafting, and pitch presentations.
