Growth Ventures Internship – Innovation & Strategy

About the role

The Growth Ventures Intern will support strategic growth initiatives across the Umdasch Group, focusing on market intelligence, startup scouting, and early‑stage deal support in construction technology and built‑environment innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured market and sector research on construction technology and built‑environment innovation.
• Support outreach, meeting preparation, and follow‑up with external partners.
• Identify and map startup opportunities, target companies, and ecosystem players such as accelerators and venture funds.
• Prepare presentations, research summaries, and management materials for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain market intelligence databases and track strategic developments.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in growth strategy, M&A, venture capital, startups and technology trends.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive, independent work style and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
