GSE Technician Welder

About the role

Velora Aviation is seeking a skilled GSE Technician Welder to join its Abu Dhabi workshop. The role focuses on fabricating, modifying and repairing structural metal components used in ground support equipment and workshop infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate metal structures, brackets, frames and equipment components according to engineering drawings.
• Cut, bend, grind and weld metal parts using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Operate fabrication machinery such as drills, presses and cutting equipment.
• Perform structural repairs on GSE equipment and workshop fixtures.
• Verify dimensions and alignment of fabricated parts to ensure compliance.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Technical training in welding, fabrication or metal works.
• Minimum of 5 years hands‑on experience in metal fabrication and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
