Guest Relations Executive – Casea 101

About the role

One&Only Resorts creates joy for guests through anticipation, creativity and warmth. The company is looking for a Restaurant Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai, delivering a warm and seamless dining experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimise table turnover and service flow.
• Maintain an organised and up‑to‑date reservations system.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to service and kitchen teams.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding reservations, menu details and restaurant policies.
• Support the service team during peak hours as needed.
• Ensure the hostess stand, entrance area and menus are always clean and presentable.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge of menu items, daily specials and promotions.
• Assist in coordinating special events, group bookings and VIP arrangements.
• Uphold company grooming standards and act as an ambassador for the restaurant’s brand.
• Perform any other duties required by management.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in an upscale 5‑star hotel or resort restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with high‑profile and diverse clientele.
• Dynamic team player committed to delivering the highest level of guest service.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
