Guest Services Agent

About the role

At Avani Deira Dubai Hotel, the Guest Services Agent is the first point of contact for guests, embodying the brand’s vibrant and courteous service culture. The role involves anticipating guest needs, providing accurate information about the hotel’s rooms, facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club, and promoting Minor Hotels’ offerings. You will represent Avani Hotels with a friendly, outgoing personality, ensuring each guest receives a warm welcome and a memorable experience. You will work closely with all hotel departments, attend daily briefings and training, and proactively suggest alternatives to enhance guest satisfaction. The position requires handling inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining the highest standards of service in line with Minor Hotels’ values. Your responsibilities also include following up on guest feedback, participating in hotel events, and continuously seeking ways to improve the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Anticipate guest needs and handle inquiries in a helpful Minor Hotels manner.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel products, including room types, rates, facilities, F&B outlets, spa, health club, and promotions.
• Take personal responsibility for service attitude and ensure delivery meets Minor Hotels’ highest standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction issues are addressed promptly and follow‑up is completed in a timely manner.
• Proactively suggest alternatives to meet guest needs and enhance their Minor Hotels experience.
• Attend hotel events, daily shift briefings and training to improve professional skills.
• Develop close and harmonious working relationships with all hotel departments.
