Handyman Team Leader

About the role

The Handyman Team Leader will coordinate and supervise a dedicated handyman team to keep company facilities safe, functional, and well‑maintained. This role blends hands‑on technical work with leadership, ensuring maintenance requests are addressed quickly and standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the handyman team, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of protective equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests via Teams, WhatsApp or email and track their resolution.
• Conduct daily building inspections, report defects and follow up on corrective actions.
• Identify material needs, obtain cost approvals and manage resource usage efficiently.
• Provide hands‑on assistance for complex repairs when required.
• Plan and coordinate team activities during scheduled downtime.
• Facilitate communication between the maintenance team and other departments.

Required profile

• Minimum primary education.
• At least 12 months of experience in a similar maintenance or facilities support role.
• Ability to work both in the office and on‑site, 8‑hour shifts.

• Technical knowledge of maintenance and repairs.

• Ability to manage resources efficiently.
