Head Baker – Luxury Resort Bakery

About the role

The Head Baker will lead the bakery operations at Madinat Jumeirah Resort, delivering high‑quality baked goods for the resort’s 20+ restaurants, lounges and banquet venues. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will ensure consistent product excellence while upholding the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold performance, policy and service standards in line with the hotel’s operational manual.
• Implement and monitor HACCP procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Plan menus and develop standard recipes to guarantee consistent quality and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor food standards across all outlets and banquet functions.
• Coach and mentor senior chefs, supporting them in training their teams.
• Recommend modern equipment, production methods and presentation techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Identify market trends and guest preferences for bakery products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Catering, Hospitality or a related field.
• Fluent English – reading, writing and speaking.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Minimum five years of international experience in five‑star hotel or restaurant baking.
