Head Bartender

About the role

Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel is looking for a Head Bartender. The hotel is part of the Colbert Collection, inspired by Parisian boulevard cafés and the original Colbert bistro, and is described as a place where culture, conversation and culinary rituals come together.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring, cocktail mixing, bottle flaring and upselling
• Supervise and train bartending staff
• Create and update cocktail menus
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage bar inventory and place orders as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Provide excellent customer service, resolve complaints and handle guest complaints directly or refer them to the Bar Manager
• Monitor and control beverage costs and ensure consistent drink quality
• Promote a positive, professional work environment and service beverages to hotel standards

Required profile

• Proven work experience as Head Bartender
• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
