Head - Equity Delta Trading

About the role

Lead ADCB’s Equities Delta Trading desk, shaping strategy, execution and risk management across regional and global equity markets. You will drive risk‑adjusted returns, manage P&L and ensure compliance while expanding the bank’s market access and product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction of the Equities Delta Trading desk, aligning with broader trading objectives.
• Lead execution of delta‑one products—including cash equities, equity index futures and ETFs—ensuring best execution and adherence to market structure.
• Monitor trading exposures within approved limits, escalating breaches and recommending adjustments.
• Research macroeconomic trends, sector dynamics and liquidity flows to identify trading opportunities.
• Evaluate competitor offerings to keep the bank up‑to‑date on market developments.
• Maintain full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and governance standards.
• Partner with Sales, Structuring, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to enhance execution quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of equities trading experience with a strong track record in delta‑one strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field; CFA, FRM or equivalent preferred.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of market structure, liquidity and execution technology.
• Strong command of risk, compliance and governance frameworks.
• Effective communication and sound decision‑making skills.
