Head Mixologist

About the role

The Head Mixologist will lead beverage operations at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, ensuring the highest standards of service, compliance, and profitability. This senior position reports to the Food & Beverage Director and works closely with hotel management to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all beverage operations, including bar, lounge, and in‑room service, ensuring adherence to brand standards and local regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor beverage policies, inventory controls, portion standards, and cost‑control measures.
• Prepare and analyse budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports to meet financial targets.
• Oversee perpetual inventory, beverage pars, and end‑of‑period stock reconciliations.
• Train, supervise, and schedule beverage staff, fostering a culture of service excellence.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to create menus, promotions, and special beverage programs.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and ensure consistent quality across all service points.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior beverage management within luxury hotels or resorts.
• Strong knowledge of local beverage laws, inventory control, and cost‑management practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, high‑end hospitality environment.
