Head of Academic Unit – K12

About the role

McGraw Hill is seeking a Head of Academic Unit – K12 to lead the transformation of K‑12 education across the Gulf region. Based in Dubai, you will partner with schools, distributors and internal teams to drive adoption of world‑class curriculum, pedagogy and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive solution selling by collaborating with Sales and Marketing on key accounts and aligning school priorities with McGraw Hill products and technology.
• Lead and mentor the Academic Unit across the MEA region, ensuring consistent performance in a multi‑market environment.
• Build and strengthen distributor partnerships, providing sales enablement, training and strategic alignment.
• Deliver high‑impact presentations to school leaders and decision‑makers, translating complex educational content into compelling narratives.
• Provide product training to field teams and partners, and feed market intelligence into product and marketing strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM or a related field.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience at the elementary/K‑12 level.
• Demonstrated leadership experience or strong leadership potential in education or related industries.
• Ability to engage credibly with school leaders, teachers and education stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regionally (≈40%) and a valid driver’s licence.
