Head of AI Platforms

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is building a connected ecosystem where AI, automation, data and intelligent decision‑making transform customer experiences and business operations across multiple automotive brands. The Head of AI Platforms will lead the creation and scaling of an enterprise‑grade AI Platform that embeds AI into core business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver an AI orchestration layer that supports agentic AI, AI‑powered automation, workflow orchestration and large‑scale experimentation.
• Build reusable AI and automation capabilities that can be leveraged across brands and functions such as sales, after‑sales, mobility, leasing and corporate services.
• Transform machine‑learning models into enterprise‑grade services and establish MLOps/LLMOps platforms.
• Collaborate with technology, product, data and business teams to embed AI into critical customer and operational journeys.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in software/platform engineering, enterprise architecture or technology leadership, with at least 5 years leading AI or platform teams.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or a related technical field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise‑grade platforms and delivering measurable business outcomes.
