Head of Business Development (Remote, Dubai Preferred)

About the role

One Bit Launch builds and runs online stores for its own brand, zamani, which sells watch bands across the GCC and beyond, and then applies the same approach to other brands. It is looking for one person to take the business to market, working remotely with Dubai preferred. The role is hands-on: you find and win e-commerce brands, run the full deal yourself, and also sell zamani products.

Key responsibilities

• Find and win e-commerce brands that want to grow: founders, D2C brands and retailers going online.
• Run the full deal yourself: prospect, call, meet, pitch, send the written proposal the same day, follow up, close and collect.
• Build partner channels with logistics, payments and marketplace companies serving the same merchants.
• Sell zamani to companies and retailers, including custom branded wristbands and bands for corporates, events and national days, and placing zamani in the right stores.
• Travel when a deal is real and close it in person.
• Keep the pipeline honest, reviewed every week.

Required profile

• Has closed services or B2B deals personally, able to say who signed, how much and how long it took.
• Has sold to e-commerce, D2C or retail brands, or into the ecosystem around them such as agencies, platforms and payments.
• Fluent Arabic and English; Dubai with your own residency is preferred, remote works if you are in a nearby time zone and can travel to Dubai and the Gulf to meet clients.
• Follows up without being chased and finds a proposal sitting for a week annoying.

What we offer

• Commission of 20% on clients' first-year spend, rising to 30% above target, uncapped; top closers earn AED 20k+ per month.
• A base salary plus a guaranteed commission floor for the first three months while the pipeline builds.
• Car, phone and health allowance, with travel covered for deal trips.
• A small team where your numbers are visible and you work directly with the founder.
