Head of Category Management – Projects Equipment

About the role
Lead and manage high‑value, business‑critical categories across ADNOC Group Companies, driving end‑to‑end Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Performance initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi‑billion‑dollar commercial strategies, overseeing the full Category Management life cycle from strategy to supplier management.
- Coordinate with senior leaders across procurement functions (planning, inventory, logistics, P2P, ICV) to ensure integrated value creation.
- Lead cross‑functional teams (5‑50 members) to identify synergies, run efficiency workshops with suppliers and manage framework agreements.
- Generate spend maps, support 12‑month and 5‑year sector strategies, and drive standardisation, cost reduction and ESG initiatives.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in Category Management or Strategic Sourcing within large, complex organisations.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess spend, pricing, market trends and supplier performance.
