Head of Finance and Corporate Services

About the role

The organisation is seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded Head of Finance & Corporate Services to act as a trusted advisor to the Chairman and lead the Group’s finance function while overseeing the wider corporate services infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Group finance function, reviewing team structures, responsibilities and processes for efficiency, scalability and strong financial controls.
• Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts across all Group entities.
• Enhance management information, board packs and KPI reporting, agreeing key financial performance measures with senior leadership.
• Proactively manage Group cash‑flow and working capital.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group.
• Review commercial contracts to ensure profitability and appropriate margins.
• Provide leadership and oversight to Corporate Services, including HR, Compliance, Marketing and Office Management.
• Manage employee onboarding and off‑boarding across the Group.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, insurers, tax advisers, legal advisers and other professional partners.
• Review key supplier contracts and service agreements where appropriate.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 8 years post‑qualified experience, preferably in a professional services business.
• Proven experience leading finance functions across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing support functions beyond finance, such as HR, compliance or operations.
