Head of Finance – Emaratization (Dubai)

About the role

The organization is seeking a senior finance leader to head its Finance function in Dubai, with a focus on Emaratization. The role will act as a strategic partner to senior management, driving financial planning, reporting and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the finance strategy aligned with the company’s overall mission.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, revenue and P&L management, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports.
• Oversee core finance functions including Treasury, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Tax Compliance, Asset Management and General Ledger.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital to support operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Coach, develop and mentor the Finance and Accounting teams.
• Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, expansion projects and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CMA or ACCA) with 10‑15 years of progressive finance experience.
• Proven ability to lead large finance teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Emirati regulatory environment and Emaratization requirements.
