Head of Finance – FX & CFDs

About the role

Our client, a regulated global financial services group operating in FX, CFDs, digital assets and institutional trading, is looking for a Head of Finance to lead its finance function across multiple jurisdictions. Based in Dubai, the role combines fast‑paced trading environment with strong governance and ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end finance function including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, audit and financial controls.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, statutory statements and board‑level reports.
• Develop financial plans, annual budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario models to support strategy and expansion.
• Provide commercial analysis of revenue, trading volumes, client activity, spreads, rebates, marketing spend and operational costs.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, liquidity planning, banking relationships and treasury operations across entities.
• Maintain robust financial controls, accounting policies, approval processes and segregation of duties.
• Lead external audit coordination and liaise with auditors, tax advisers, regulators and banks.
• Monitor financial risks including counter‑party, currency, liquidity and operational risks.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure alignment with regulatory, tax and governance requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience in FX, CFDs, brokerage, trading or broader financial services.
• Proven track record of managing finance functions across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Experience working with executive teams, operations, compliance and legal functions.
