Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead the organisation’s financial function, ensuring its health and supporting strategic growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and profitability, ensuring optimal cash management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws and internal policies.
• Manage audits, financial controls and risk‑management procedures.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with the executive team on business planning and investment decisions.
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors and other external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or CFA preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication abilities.
