Head of Home Finance Operations

About the role

The Head of Home Finance Operations leads the end‑to‑end delivery, governance and risk management of the Home Finance business across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior management, this role ensures operational excellence, regulatory and Shari’a compliance, and supports a high‑value portfolio with monthly volumes of around AED 1.5 billion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Home Finance Operations across two locations, overseeing booking, disbursement, post‑disbursement servicing, collections support and account maintenance.
• Ensure full compliance with CBUAE regulations, internal policies and Shari’a Board directives, maintaining audit‑ready operations.
• Design and maintain SOPs, control frameworks, KRIs and escalation mechanisms to minimise losses, errors and customer complaints.
• Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives, driving straight‑through processing, digital documentation and data‑integrity projects.
• Champion a customer‑centric operating model, embedding service SLAs, quality assurance and root‑cause analysis to improve experience.
• Support portfolio growth by providing operational capacity planning, readiness for new products and data‑driven insights to senior management.
• Act as primary operations owner during audits, regulatory reviews and Shari’a inspections, ensuring timely closure of observations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in banking operations, home finance or related financial services.
• Proven track record of leading large, multi‑location teams (40+ staff) and delivering operational resilience.
• Deep understanding of UAE banking regulations, CBUAE requirements and Shari’a compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to partner with Business, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Shari’a functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on process optimisation and risk mitigation.
