Head of International Tax

About the role

We are looking for a Head of International Tax to build and lead a European and international tax advisory practice for a business consulting firm in Dubai. This strategic role combines deep technical expertise with commercial acumen to shape service offerings, grow the client base, and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the European and international tax advisory offering, identifying market opportunities.
• Provide cross‑border tax planning, structuring, double‑tax treaty analysis, CFC rule guidance, and permanent establishment advice.
• Advise on European cross‑border tax matters and UAE/GCC taxation.
• Lead transfer pricing projects and design tax‑efficient holding‑company structures.
• Support high‑net‑worth individuals, founders and entrepreneurs with international tax planning and relocation.
• Originate new business, build strategic client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Establish and mentor a high‑performing international tax team.

Required profile

• Degree in Taxation, Law, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7–12 years of international tax experience, preferably at Manager or Senior Manager level.
• Significant experience with a Big Four firm or leading international tax practice.
• Strong European cross‑border tax background and working knowledge of UAE/GCC tax regimes.
• Professional qualification such as ADIT, CTA or equivalent.
