Head of Investor Capital & Relations – Middle East (Dubai)

About the role

As the Head of Investor Capital & Relations for the Middle East, you will be the senior representative of Xsolla in the Gulf, responsible for building the regional franchise from the ground up. Reporting to the SVP of Global Strategic Initiatives, you will shape the coverage map, establish the office hub, and lead a team that connects sovereign wealth funds, government entities and family offices with Xsolla’s investment vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Own senior coverage of GCC sovereign wealth funds, government‑related entities and principal family offices, maintaining documented access paths and personal relationships.
• Map decision‑making architecture of priority institutions, tracking investment committee cadence, mandate criteria, co‑investment appetite and approval chains.
• Lead regional fundraising and pre‑marketing processes for Xsolla’s investment vehicles, coordinating with legal counsel on jurisdiction‑specific promotion rules.
• Originate and manage co‑investment dialogues with sovereign investors and support strategic financing conversations through to execution.
• Advise on the hub decision between DIFC and ADGM, lead office establishment, and ensure regulatory compliance with local promotion frameworks.
• Build the firm’s presence at regional investment forums, run an events calendar, and recruit and develop a regional Relationship Manager and future hires.

Required profile

• 10+ years covering MENA institutional capital in investment banking, sovereign investing, placement agency, asset management or family office environments, with at least 5 years in a senior client‑facing role.
• Proven senior relationships with GCC sovereign institutions and leading family offices, and a track record of raising or committing USD 500 million+ in the region.
• Deep knowledge of the regional regulatory landscape for fund marketing and promotion, including DIFC and ADGM frameworks.
• Experience coordinating with government‑relations teams and managing compliance processes such as KYC, AML and sanctions screening.
