Head of IP (Pricing) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) is seeking a Head of IP to lead commercial and pricing strategy for its operations in Abu Dhabi. You will shape pricing models, support business growth, and ensure competitive positioning across air, ocean and road freight services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement commercial/pricing strategy, including planning, initiatives, tools and budgets.
• Oversee proposal development and pricing programs to meet customer needs and enhance market competitiveness.
• Support portfolio pricing strategies for targeted market segments and conduct annual pricing reviews.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, systems and processes for value‑driven decision making.
• Lead profitability analysis, rate setting and provide management reporting.
• Document price proposals and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
• Research market trends, competitive landscape and recommend best‑in‑class pricing practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial or pricing leadership within logistics, freight or related industries.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable pricing strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Track record of delivering high‑quality pricing proposals and driving profitability.
