Head of Marketing & Communications – UAE

About the role

The Head of Marketing & Communications will lead ICEYE’s marketing and communications function in the United Arab Emirates, shaping the sovereign ISR brand and driving go‑to‑market activities with defence, government and strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the UAE marketing and communications strategy, aligning campaigns, brand positioning and stakeholder engagement with national defence and security priorities.
• Build and lead the local marketing team, manage agency and freelance partners, and mentor future team members as the function expands.
• Design and execute high‑impact PR, events, digital, social media and thought‑leadership campaigns that position ICEYE as the preferred ISR partner for UAE decision‑makers.
• Localise global messaging for the UAE market, overseeing media relations, press office operations, executive communications and local social media presence.
• Plan and deliver strategic events, trade shows and industry engagements to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Senior, hands‑on leader with proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably within defence, government or high‑technology sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to set local strategy, build teams and manage external agencies.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with the UAE CEO, global CMO and wider Marketing & Communications organization.
