Head of Product

About the role

A regional, AI-native accounting, bookkeeping and tax-compliance platform serving SMEs across the GCC is hiring a Head of Product in Dubai. The role reports to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and works closely with the CEO, Engineering and Client Success. It is a founding product position with a clear path to broader product leadership as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy with the CEO and CPTO and turn it into a quarterly plan
• Own the backlog, including timing, business impact and tech effort for each feature
• Write user stories and PRDs, keeping them ready two sprints ahead
• Gather and prioritise ideas from leadership, business teams and clients
• Run sprint planning with Tech and run business testing (UAT) before release
• Benchmark against international peers and competitors, and review features after launch to confirm adoption and results

Required profile

• 5+ years in product management, ideally in fintech, SaaS or B2B for SMEs
• Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-based products
• Strong customer discovery skills and comfort talking directly to business owners
• Clear, structured writing (PRDs, user stories, roadmaps)
• Experience working closely with engineering in agile sprints
• Plus: knowledge of accounting, tax or finance workflows and the UAE/GCC market

The position is based in Dubai, UAE, on-site or hybrid, with a permanent contract.
