Head of Projects & Facilities

About the role

The Head of Projects & Facilities will lead planning, design, delivery, commissioning and operational management of Al-Futtaim Health’s healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Managing Director – Healthcare, this senior leader will oversee construction, expansions, regulatory compliance and biomedical engineering across a growing network of clinics and hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead healthcare projects from feasibility through completion, managing budgeting, design coordination, procurement, construction delivery and handover.
• Oversee regulatory approvals and ensure compliance with DHA Health Facility Guidelines, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence and other authorities.
• Direct facilities operations, preventive and reactive maintenance of MEP, HVAC, fire & life safety, medical gases and building services.
• Manage biomedical engineering functions, including equipment procurement, installation, calibration and lifecycle planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, government bodies and internal stakeholders, and report on project performance, risks and budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in healthcare project management, hospital development or facilities management.
• Proven track record delivering healthcare construction, fit‑out, refurbishment or commissioning projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing large‑scale contracts.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
