Head of Public Policy – Middle East & Africa

About the role

Snap Inc is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its public policy agenda across the Middle East and Africa. Based in Dubai, you will act as the primary voice of Snap with governments, NGOs, and other key stakeholders, ensuring the company’s interests are represented in policy discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Snap’s day‑to‑day policy representative in the MEA region, deepening relationships with government officials, NGOs, trade associations and other influencers.
• Co‑design and implement a regional public policy plan aligned with Snap’s growth objectives.
• Develop and communicate Snap’s positions on local and regional policy issues, collaborating with Legal, Communications, Sales, Product and Platform Integrity teams.
• Act as the policy spokesperson at events, forums and media engagements.
• Monitor legislative initiatives, assess risks and opportunities, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven track record of influencing government officials, NGOs and coalition partners.
• Extensive experience in public policy, government relations or regulatory affairs within the Middle East and Africa.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate legislative proposals and craft policy positions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
