About the role

SALT is seeking an ambitious, commercially‑driven Head of Public Relations to lead its PR division in Dubai. This senior leadership position combines deep PR expertise with a proven ability to win new business, grow client accounts, and build high‑performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategy and commercial direction for the PR function, driving revenue growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, from pitch development to conversion.
• Maintain senior‑level relationships with existing and prospective clients and industry stakeholders.
• Expand existing accounts through new services, markets, and client relationships.
• Own major pitches and proposals, crafting compelling PR strategies and commercial propositions.
• Develop and promote the agency’s PR offering and market reputation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the PR team, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.
• Oversee senior client relationships to ensure high‑quality strategic and creative delivery.
• Collaborate with agency leadership to identify cross‑selling and integrated opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to support growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of PR agency experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in growing a PR business, division, or client portfolio.
• Strong new‑business and pitching track record with measurable commercial results.
• Extensive network of senior clients and contacts across the UAE and MENA region.
• Deep understanding of the UAE PR and communications landscape.
• Experience managing and developing senior teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on commercial performance.
