Head of Quality Control

About the role

The Head of Quality Control is the technical authority and Voice of Customer for product quality across Pearl Group. This role designs, implements, and maintains the Group Quality Management System while ensuring consistent quality standards across multiple manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Pearl Group QA/QC Policy, test methods, and controlled‑document framework.
• Maintain ISO 9001 certification and ensure continual compliance across all sites.
• Lead organizational readiness for customer, certification, and third‑party audits.
• Develop and maintain the Site QC Competency Matrix and certification programs.
• Monitor and analyze group‑wide quality KPIs, applying SPC and trend analysis.
• Own customer complaint investigations, root‑cause analysis, CAPA implementation and closure.
• Plan and lead the annual internal audit program, including cross‑site audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or related discipline (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Control or Assurance within the chemical or polyurethane industry.
• Proven expertise in quality management systems, statistical analysis, root‑cause analysis and CAPA.
• Hands‑on laboratory experience with polyurethane foams, elastomers and related materials.
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 (or equivalent) quality systems.
• Experience leading quality teams and developing competencies across multiple sites.
