Head of Quality & Development Office

About the role

The Dubai Health Authority is seeking a senior leader to head its Quality & Development Office. This role will drive quality management, patient safety initiatives, and strategic development across the hospital network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all quality management activities for the hospital.
• Develop and implement the Quality and Patient Safety Plan.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation programs, including JCI standards and the DGEP program.
• Contribute to the development of the Hospital Strategic Plan.
• Oversee creation and documentation of policies, procedures, guidelines, protocols, and plans.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze administrative and clinical performance indicators.
• Conduct follow‑up evaluations of data and organizational performance to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the risk management program, including surveillance activities and safety assessments.
• Investigate undesirable situations and initiate quality improvement programs.
• Appraise staff performance against Individual Performance Plans and coordinate reviews.
• Determine staffing needs, conduct interviews, and manage selection processes.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Quality Management, Health/Hospital Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in senior management.
