Head of Risk (NTL)

About the role

The Head of Risk (NTL) is a senior management position within Binance operating in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). You will lead the design, implementation and ongoing oversight of an enterprise‑wide risk management framework, ensuring material risks are identified, assessed, monitored and reported in line with the firm’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework covering operational, market, credit, liquidity, legal, compliance and reputational risks.
• Define and maintain the firm’s risk appetite statement in consultation with senior management and the board, and enforce effective risk policies and procedures.
• Oversee continuous risk monitoring, produce regular risk reports for senior management and the board, and ensure timely escalation and mitigation of emerging risks.
• Act as the primary risk liaison with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), ensuring full compliance with ADGM rulebooks and regulatory submissions.
• Participate in governance committees such as the Risk Committee and ALCO, and review new business initiatives to assess risk impacts.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive risk management experience within exchanges, clearing houses, capital markets or virtual‑asset environments, with solid knowledge of the ADGM regulatory framework.
• Proven ability to manage risk frameworks across market, clearing, settlement, liquidity, collateral and operational resilience domains.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with regulators, boards and senior management, with strong analytical and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Forward‑looking risk leader who can connect regulatory expectations with business strategy and provide constructive challenge in a fast‑moving, highly regulated environment.
