Head of Secondary – School Leadership

About the role

As a key member of the School Leadership Team, the Head of Secondary will provide direction, inspiration and guidance to the secondary teaching staff, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, staff development and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support secondary teachers in delivering the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, International Baccalaureate Programme and BTEC.
• Manage daily school operations, including staff deployment, performance reviews and professional development.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Head and Senior Leadership Team to set academic targets and drive innovative teaching practices.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with extensive teaching and management experience, up‑to‑date with curriculum developments.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and cultural sensitivity in an international environment.
• University degree in a specialist subject, teaching qualification and deep knowledge of the curriculum.
