Head of Strategy Construction Adhesives IMEA

About the role

The Head of Strategy for Construction Adhesives will lead the strategic agenda for the Adhesive Technologies Construction business unit across the IMEA region. This senior position is responsible for market entry, route‑to‑market, pricing, and commercial excellence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and lead execution of Route‑to‑Market, Sales Force Effectiveness and Export Market Prioritization projects.
• Develop market entry and expansion strategies for selected markets.
• Coordinate M&A activities, identify and analyse potential acquisition targets.
• Analyse and recommend improvements to operations, including purchasing, supply chain and manufacturing footprint.
• Analyse financial results and liaise with market teams.
• Drive strategic agenda across market strategy, product & technology management, pricing, customer activation and sales/channel excellence.
• Contribute to and lead business and organisational restructuring projects.

Required profile

• Business, science or engineering degree from a top‑tier university; MBA a plus.
• 7–10 years of industry experience, preferably with consulting exposure.
• At least 3 years of people‑management experience.
• Experience in sales, marketing or commercial excellence.
• Strong digital affinity and ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.
