Head of Takaful Solutions – Global High Net Worth

About the role

The Head of Takaful Solutions will serve as the trusted Takaful subject‑matter expert for Manulife’s Global High Net Worth business, based in Dubai. This market‑facing role advises banks, brokers and internal leaders, translating complex Shariah and product concepts into clear, client‑relevant guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as GHNW's trusted Takaful subject‑matter expert and primary consultative interface for banks, brokers and internal leadership.
• Present and explain Manulife’s Takaful propositions, including Shariah principles, product structures, benefits and limitations.
• Advise and educate external partners through meetings, briefings, due‑diligence discussions and technical queries.
• Translate product and Shariah content into compelling narratives and materials for diverse audiences.
• Gather market feedback and provide structured insights to product, distribution and marketing teams.
• Build Takaful knowledge across internal stakeholders via briefings, training and FAQs.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk and Shariah governance to ensure accurate external communications.
• Monitor market developments, competitor positioning and emerging questions to strengthen readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Takaful, Islamic insurance, Islamic finance or related fields.
• Deep practical knowledge of Takaful principles, operating models, product structures and Shariah governance.
• Proven ability to present complex Islamic finance concepts to banks, brokers, senior leaders and clients.
• Experience in the Middle East, particularly UAE/DIFC regulatory environment, is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Islamic Finance or related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
• Professional qualifications in insurance, Takaful or Islamic finance are a plus.
