Head of Technology Risk, Compliance and Quality Assurance

About the role

The Head of Technology Risk, Compliance and Quality Assurance leads governance, risk, compliance, quality assurance and financial oversight for the Technology division, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk appetite, regulatory requirements and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive technology risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring.
• Govern the IT risk register, design and optimise control mechanisms, and report Key Risk Indicators.
• Lead internal and external audit engagements, manage audit findings lifecycle and conduct independent assurance reviews.
• Define and enforce security, configuration and regulatory compliance standards across all technology platforms.
• Develop and implement ITSM processes for Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management, and oversee their governance.
• Create and maintain a technology governance framework, policies, standards and performance metrics.
• Lead the development and monitoring of CapEx and OpEx budgets for the Technology division.
• Establish governance for technology‑business unit relationships, monitoring alignment, responsiveness and transparency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance within a technology environment.
• Proven ability to design, implement and optimise IT governance and control frameworks.
• Strong audit and assurance management background, with experience handling both internal and external audits.
• Strategic thinking and decision‑making skills to align risk, compliance and financial governance with business objectives.
