Head of Wigs, Hair & Makeup - Entertainment

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Head of Wigs, Hair and Makeup for its Entertainment Administration team. The role leads the wig, hair and makeup department for large‑scale performances at the upcoming resort.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train and evaluate the wig, hair and makeup team.
• Collaborate with designers and directors to maintain artistic integrity of all looks.
• Prepare, style and maintain wigs and makeup for each performance, ensuring high standards and timely repairs or replacements.
• Manage inventory and procurement of supplies in coordination with the Wardrobe Administrator.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including look bibles for each performer.
• Train performers on proper application and maintenance of wigs and makeup.
• Support PR, marketing and special events with appropriate hair and makeup services.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years experience as a wig and hair technician or similar role in a large‑scale theatrical or production setting.
• Minimum three years experience as a makeup technician in a similar environment.
• Proven ability to teach performers how to apply wigs and makeup.

Required skills

• Cutting, dyeing, setting, blocking and styling real hair wigs.
• Fitting, altering and repairing full‑lace cap or lace‑front wigs.
• Application of theatrical and beauty makeup, including airbrush body makeup.
