Head Waiter / Head Waitress – Food & Beverage Lead

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Head Waiter/Head Waitress to lead the service team at our restaurant in Dubai. The role combines guest‑focused service with operational coordination to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Kitchen, Stewarding and Outlet Cashiers to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular training sessions for the service team in line with departmental SOPs.
• Monitor duty schedules and guarantee proper appearance and grooming of assigned staff.
• Oversee timely set‑up of the outlet according to meal settings and opening hours.
• Welcome arriving guests, manage seating through the hostess, and take over when necessary.
• Maintain professional, friendly relationships with patrons to ensure their well‑being.
• Stay familiar with the outlet’s menu, promotional activities and relevant hotel information.
• Contribute to achieving and maximising the monthly revenue budget for the outlet.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Maximum of two years’ experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with the Micros POS system is desirable.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Well‑presented, outgoing, and customer‑care oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Team‑player with strong adaptability and results‑driven mindset.
